BIO
Steezy brings out the darkness buried deep in the corners of his mind, transforming them into something beautiful and transcendent. A relatable song is sometimes needed in dark times — it brings the listener comfort in knowing that they are not alone. A myriad of feelings— heartbreak, shame, loneliness, lingering sadness, as well as hope and the glimmer of possibility are all shared in his lyric. With his love for Hip-Hop / Rap, Rock, Jazz, and Country, he has found a way to fuse each genre, under one brand, into his own unique sound. His hard work and passion towards music shows through his extensive progress within 9 months. From writing and recording in his basement to recording in professional settings with Jonathan Moe (recorded E-40) and Jorge Hernandez (recorded 21 Savage, G-Eazy, and more), he now has over 20 songs released. He has done tracks with Marty Grimes and Keak Da Sneak, and was invited to be on set at G-Eazy's "West Coast" video shoot as well.
Steezy was born in San Francisco, into an Italian and Arab family. His passion for music began at a young age as his older sister studied Music in University.
Growing up, Steezy experienced many unfortunate events, such as the loss of his 10 year old cousin at the age of 12, and witnessing the death of a friend at the age of 15.
Along with his experiences of broken- heartedness, being heavily bullied by peers and being treated as a misfit, he has found healing through music. Steezy has taken his experiences and trauma
and uses them to fuel his passion and creativity.
